Craven council are to welcome at least 15 refugees . Craven has previously welcomed Syrian refugees. Craven district council, volunteers, the County Council and the Refugee Council worked hard to make this a success. There is all party support and local people will, again, ensure a warm and sustained welcome.

 

Gulwali Passerlay, an inspirational speak  and author of the Lightless Sky, will be giving a Zoom talk on Monday 20 September – for details click here (hyperlink). Gulwali made his journey from Afghanistan aged 12.
