Ray's Dalesway Adventure - Report & Pictures

Ray set off on his Dalesway epic on
Tuesday, getting the bus to Ilkley; from there he walked to
Appletreewick where he spent the first night. On Wednesday he
called in at Grassington, before making his way to Buckden,
where he spent the night in the camping field above the village.
(see pictures - right) He called in for a cup of coffee on Thursday morning, and was in great spirits in spite of the weather which was fairly miserable. He then set off to walk up Langstrothdale and over Cam Fell to Ribblehead, where he spent the night on Thursday, having had a fairly wet day by all accounts. |

Friday, Ray walked to Dent, where he spent Friday night. On
