Biography                                                                                            

Kate is originally from Warwickshire and graduated with honours in vocal and operatic studies in June 2006 under the tutelage of Christine Cairns. She now studies privately with Louise Crane.

Kate’s operatic experience in both scenes and full length operas includes Isabella L’Italiana in Algeri, Cenerentola, Sandman - Hansel and Gretel, Lady Jersey and Countess of Desmond English Eccentrics – Birmingham Conservatoire. Tancredi, Annio & Sesto La Clemenza di Tito,  Marcellina La Nozze di Figaro,  Octavian Der Rosenkavalier, Cornelia Giulio Cesare –Canto Allucinante. Hansel Hansel & Gretel – The Muses. Third Spirit The Magic Flute British Youth Opera -cover, Bloomsbury Festival Opera, Lolette – cover La Rondine – British Youth Opera. Paggio Rigoletto – Grange Park Opera. Kate has also appeared in the chorus in numerous operas for Grange Park Opera, Pimlico Opera, Opera Holland Park and British Youth Opera, as well as chorus and soloist for the 2009 Thursford Christmas Spectacular.  Kate's most recent appearance was in Carmen the Musical for the Pimlico Opera in Wandsworth Prison while future engagements include appearances in Tosca, Madame Butterfly and The Love of Three Oranges for Grange Park Opera.

Recent solo engagements include Requiem & Coronation Mass – Mozart, Messiah – Handel, Gloria & Magnificat – Vivaldi, Nelson & Schopfungmesse – Haydn and Stabat Mater & Magnificat – Pergolesi. As well as numerous performances of Respighi’s cantata Il Tramonto for mezzo soprano and string orchestra.
