Buckden Beck Lifebelt Appeal

 

The Buckden Beck Lifebelt Appeal was established by Mr. Ted Salmon following an 
unfortunate incident in which a Buckden resident came to grief in the beck. Mr. Salmon felt that, given how narrow the bridge over the beck is, it would be all too easy for an unwary resident to inadvertently stumble into the icy waters, and accordingly has established the appeal, donating his prize money from the Christmas Lights contest.
