Night-swimming & Glow worms

Regular readers will recall Richard Barlow’s letter about his night-swimming exploits in the Beck (Letters to the Editor – passim). It has subsequently emerged that Richard was wrong in thinking his activities were unobserved.

As can be seen from the photo (left) , one of the ubiquitous Buckden paparazzi was lurking behind a rock and managed to snatch this picture . Unfortunately (or, come to think of it, perhaps fortunately) the exposure wasn’t brilliant, and the glow worms can be seen more clearly than Richard.
